Our Vision: LACTMA is a safe forum for Los Angeles area teachers to come to find resources, ask questions, share ideas with other teachers, and find support for their growth in all facets of mathematics education. We are also committed to strengthening our math education community by identifying and developing emergent leaders.
An affiliate of the California Mathematics Council, LACTMA represents thousands of teachers of mathematics in the Los Angeles basin, teachers who in turn serve approximately one million pre-K to 16 students of mathematics.
