Our Mission:

LACTMA was founded in 1956 by mathematics educators, for mathematics educators. LACTMA is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization.

Our purpose is three-fold:

To contribute to the professional growth of teachers of mathematics.

To promote a mathematics program on each level which will provide mathematics education relevant to students, teachers, and the community.

To encourage membership in local, state, and national mathematics associations.
